Restoration House is our brand new shelter for women and children, focused on serving those who have experienced trauma.
This state-of-the-art, trauma-informed shelter includes innovative spaces designed specifically for women and children in our community. Our services cater to our clients’ needs for safety, privacy, self-esteem, community, and empowerment.
Admissions for Women and Children
Restoration House will have client intake screenings in-person on Mondays – Fridays from 8:30 am – 10:30 am. All clients will be pre-screened for eligibility. Restoration House is located at 655 Ethel St. NW, Atlanta, GA 30318.
General Requirements
• Be over the age of 18 unless accompanied by a mother or legal guardian
• Agree to abide by all guidelines and fully participate in all program activities
• Be fully detoxified with at least 72 hours since last use of drugs or 24 hours since last use of alcohol
• Be mentally and physically able to exercise proper personal hygiene and self-care, perform task assignments, and participate in all program functions within a non-medical, non-psychiatric facility
• Two-bag maximum of personal belongings for each adult, 1 additional bag per child
• Clients must fully be able to participate in services, therefore, clients that are working or in school are not eligible for a bed at this time.
