The KPF focuses its programs on supporting underserved mothers in Atlanta, Georgia as they reenter the workforce. We recognize the unique challenges that women face in balancing work and family responsibilities, and provide resources and support to help them achieve career success and financial stability.
For mothers seeking to build essential career skills and confidence, this program provides the foundational knowledge and personalized support needed to enter or return to the workforce with confidence. Accelerate’s comprehensive lessons and personalized advisory support develops or enhances career preparedness skills.
Grant Eligibility: 18 or older, identifies as female and a mother, Annual income less than $64,000, Has secure housing, Resides in the greater Atlanta, GA area, Eligible counties include: Butts, Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Paulding, Rockdale. Holds at least a high school diploma or GED, US citizen proficient in English, Not actively enrolled in a wellness program, Complete 3 or more Accelerate lessons (must include budgeting and personal finance lesson), apply for up to $4,000, Complete all 6 Accelerate lessons, apply for up to $10,000.
