The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) offers various programs with specific eligibility criteria:

Community Care Services Program (CCSP):

Administered by ARC’s Aging and Disability Resources Connection, CCSP assists Medicaid-eligible individuals who are elderly or functionally impaired, enabling them to remain in their homes and communities. Eligibility requirements include:

Functional Impairment: Physical limitations such as stroke or Alzheimer’s disease.

Nursing Home Level of Care: Need for assistance in at least one of the following areas: feeding, transfers in/out of bed or chair, maintaining continence, or significant dementia impairing daily activities.

Medicaid Waiver: Cannot receive services from more than one Medicaid Waiver program simultaneously.

Citizenship: U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency for at least five consecutive years.

Disability Status: For individuals under 65, a Social Security disability determination is required.

Income: Single applicants with a monthly gross income over $710 may incur a cost share.

Community Development Assistance Program (CDAP):

CDAP provides planning assistance to local governments, Community Improvement Districts (CIDs), and non-profits in the metro Atlanta region. Eligible applicants include:

Local Governments: Municipalities and counties within the 11-county Atlanta region.

Community Improvement Districts (CIDs): Special districts formed to finance and manage infrastructure improvements.

Non-Profit Organizations: Must collaborate with the local government where the project is located and provide a letter of support from that government.

Respite Voucher Program:

This program offers respite care vouchers to family caregivers in the 10-county metro Atlanta region. Eligibility criteria include:

Caregiver: Must be an unpaid, informal caregiver aged 18 or older.

Care Recipient: Must be:

A person aged 60 or older.

An individual of any age with Alzheimer’s disease or related disorders.

An adult aged 18-59 with disabilities, with the caregiver being aged 55 or older.

Residency: Both caregiver and care recipient must reside in one of the following counties: DeKalb, Fulton, Gwinnett, Cobb, Clayton, Henry, Rockdale, Cherokee, Douglas, or Fayette.

Care Setting: Care recipient must reside at home and not in a facility such as a personal care home or nursing home.

Enrollment in Medicaid Waiver Programs: Care recipient must not be enrolled in Medicaid waiver programs like CCSP or SOURCE.

Training Provider Eligibility:

Training providers seeking inclusion in the Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) for the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funding must:

Location: Have a primary training site or office headquarters within the service boundaries of the respective workforce development area.

Application: Submit a completed application for each program they wish to include on the ETPL.

Documentation: Provide necessary documentation as specified in the application packet.
