International Women’s House (IWH) is an Atlanta based domestic violence shelter with a mission to provide safe haven and supportive services to women and children who are the victims of family violence, sexual abuse, and human trafficking, with a focus on immigrant and refugee women and children, cultural sensitivity and self-sufficiency.
We have served Metro-Atlanta survivors since 1997. Our staff is professionally trained and has over 40 years of combined experience in the domestic violence field. Sensitive to the unique needs of the immigrant and refugee population, or staff is multi-cultural and multi-lingual. We speak over 11 languages and have access to translation services for 140 languages. IWH has helped residents and clients from over 50 countries on six continents.
