Provide “Aged Out” Georgia foster care youths with life skills, job readiness training, trade certification guidance, and assistance on how to choose and gain a degree that will equip them with what they need to improve their lives.
For “Aged Out” Georgia foster care youths to be eligible for any assistance they must meet at least three of the requirements. listed below.
1) “Aging Out” of the Georgia foster care system at time of application.
2) “Aged Out” of Georgia foster care system up to a year ago and need help.
3) Be between the ages of 17-24.
4) No place to go after release from foster care.
5) If they have somewhere to go, but it is unsafe.
