The Bashor Homeless Mens Shelter is a non-profit organization started in 1980 by an ecumenical group concerned about the growing problem of homelessness in Atlanta. As a ministry of hospitality, it has evolved into a winter night shelter serving the needs of 90-100 homeless men in downtown Atlanta from November 1 through March 31. Open seven nights a week, the shelter provides guests with a hot meal, bagged lunch, and breakfast; showers; access to medical and foot care; and recreational activities such as yoga, basketball, and art.

Sign up is now open at The Central Outreach and Advocacy Center, located at 201 Washington St,Atlanta, GA 30303 or The Gateway Center located at 275 Pryor St SW, Atlanta, GA 30303. Spaces are offered only through these two locations
