Description:

Lifeline is a federally-sponsored program that provides a discount on communication services to eligible individuals and families. Eligibility is determined by income and/or participation in state or Federal support programs. Through Lifeline, SafeLink subscribers are eligible to receive a mobile phone and a monthly discount on their service. SafeLink benefits are limited to one line per household. SafeLink Wireless is a service of TracFone Wireless, Inc., a Verizon company.

TracFone Wireless, Inc. was founded on the principle that a cell phone and reliable service should be available to everyone, or as we like to say, Coverage and Access for All. That’s why, for over 25 years, we’ve leveraged the nation’s largest networks to deliver affordable, high-quality wireless service to our customers. Many of these customers have been overlooked or underserved by conventional wireless providers as they struggled to overcome barriers of affordability, credit history checks, multi-year contracts, and hidden fees. But thanks to the model that we pioneered, our customers do not face these barriers.
