Description:

We bring hope to the plight of homeless veterans by providing veterans with resource assistance in returning to permanent housing and applying for and obtaining all eligible military benefits.

Our primary goal is to help Homeless Veterans heal, grow and regain their independence, by providing physical, mental, social and vocational resources.

The VA has identified certain military situations that may result in a disability claim after military service. If you have served under any of the below conditions, you may qualify for VA disability benefits. Allow JSCV to assist you if you have:

Served in Vietnam of believe that you may have been exposed to Agent Orange.
Served in Operation Desert Storm/Shield.
Were a Marine stationed or ever assigned to Camp Lejune, NC.
Are you 65 or older and in need of Aid and Attendance.

Eligibility:

Did the veteran serve in active duty for at least 90 days?
Do you have a discharge other than dishonorable?
Do you require the assistance of another person to perform daily activities of living?
Do you have a current injury or illness that you believe began during your military service?
