Since 1996, Disability Resource Center (DRC) has been meeting the needs of the disability community as a resource and empowerment center for persons with disabilities in Northeast Georgia. As a private, non-profit, non-residential Center for Independent Living (CIL), DRC is committed to providing an array of services assisting individuals with disabilities to live independently, pursue meaningful goals, and have the same opportunities and choices as all people.
As a non-profit 501(c)(3), we operate with a consumer-driven board of directors and a staff where over 51 percent are persons with significant disabilities providing our core services.
The DRC service area covers thirteen counties in the Northeast of Georgia. We offer our core services to the following counties:A Black and White illustration of the counties DRC serves.
