The Office of the DeKalb County Solicitor-General, under the direction of Solicitor-General Donna Coleman-Stribling, prosecutes more than 12,000 misdemeanor crimes committed in DeKalb County each year.
These cases include domestic violence, elder abuse, cruelty to children, vehicular homicide, driving under the influence, harassment and stalking, trespassing and animal cruelty.
This Office is also responsible for the prosecution of county ordinance violations, which combined with misdemeanors, affect the quality of life for DeKalb County’s more than 700,000 citizens.
