How to navigate and use the DeKalb County’s “Resources in DeKalb County” website

To find a resource by street address or keywords:

Click “Find All Resources” at the top banner

Scroll down under the map:

You can search by different methods:  

  • Keywords – type in any keywords like pharmacy, youth, mental, shelter, recovery, etc.
  • Resource Type – pull down the arrow to choose a category  
  • Enter a location – Type in a street address and choose the distance away to search for resources  
  • City – Type in a city  
  • Zip Code – Type in a 5-digit Zip Code  

Click Search and the resources that meet your criteria will appear.

Click Clear to clear out your last search criteria.

If you know the name of the organization, you can also click on the first letter of their name:

A typical resource will list the name, description, services offered, website, address, phone, and email. You can click “Map It” to view a Google map of the location.

Click on the resource’s name to view more information about the organization.

You can also view resources by category:

Scroll down on the home page and click a category

Click a category and a list of resource organizations will appear.

Click on a resource’s name to view more information about the organization.

  5. Opening hours
  6. Contact email address
